Qualifications, Experience, Character University degree and professional qualification (eg. ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CPA). 8 yrs finance management & business roles in roles requiring integrity and independent commercial judgement Fluent English speaker & reader. Hands on understanding of Financial Systems (eg. SAP, JDE etc) and processes and how they affect financial results Expert knowledge on Indonesian legal and tax matters. SEA. Experience in start ups companies preferred but not compulsory Excellent modelling & presentation using PowerPoint and excel. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing teams across geography Self starter. Highly motivated. Enthusiastic yet commercial. Ambitious. Wears the “company” hat to make decisions, Obvious ability to influence with good interpersonal, effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills, Can challenge status and drive change. Guides team to prioritise and work under pressure to deliver objectives in a timely manner Role. The Indonesia Finance Director is responsible for the creation & execution of the ApsaraPearl Foods financial plan. This is the entity's principle finance leader, working closely with the overall enterprise leader & on occasion, board. This is a hands on role, leading a small team executing planning and control, producing company reports, regulatory filings & overseeing taxation requirements. The FD is an experienced business leader able to create a detailed end to end financial plan & then execute for sustainable, profitable growth. The role is based in Jakarta – but involves frequent travel to our main site in Sumbawa Besar. Accountabilities. Own our culture & with that - hire, train and lead a trustworthy, competent and engaged finance team and inspire them to ‘own’ their work, namely managerial and cost accounting, reporting, capital plans, tax, regulatory reporting and audit / control Establish a high level of credibility and strong working relationships with internal & external partners including the GM, customers, relevant government authorities, auditors, vendors and consultants. Work with senior executives to formulate strategies to optimize the company’s financial performance and strategic position by challenging assumptions and decision-making and providing financial analysis and guidance as and when required Develop robust, compliant and timely company financial reports (including but not limited to P&L, B/S and Cashflow) , Processes (including but not limited to AP, AR, GL and FA), Policies (including but not limited to capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, disposals and acquisitions) and systems to track and support current activities as well as future growth Drive budgeting process, ensure management timely review of actual versus budget and swiftly implementing agreed upon actions when there are deviations from plan Take ultimate responsibility for the company cash and working capital management and results Present financials to 3rd parties including investors and creditors (where required) Finally – lead future rounds of capital raisings – including public and institutional financing offers. Measures. Annual Operating Plan + 3 Year Strategic Plan Month to month operating budgets (work with relevant parties to ensure cost effectiveness) Timeliness and accuracy of internal and statutory reports prepared Maintain a healthy cash flow Quality of support provided to Executive committee – Feedback to be collected
